The teenager is still in hospital this morning.
A 17-year-old girl has suffered serious injuries in a crash between her motorbike and a car in Oxford.
It happened on the Banbury Road at around 5pm yesterday.
Police shut a stretch of the road for a time, causing rush-hour delays.
The girl is still in hospital and Police are urging anyone with dashcam footage to get in touch.
Investigating officer, PC David Dorrian said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to please come forward.
“Also, we’d urge anyone who has dash-cam footage or CCTV footage from the local area around the time of the incident to please check the footage in case it may have captured something that could assist the investigation."
The crash involved a red Audi A3 and a green Kawasaki motorcycle and it happened at the Wentworth Road junction.
