Police appeal after Bicester bike rider dies

Sadly, a 38-year-old man died in a collision with a car.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a black Kia Picanto collided with a man riding a black mountain bike on Wednesday.

It happened at about 5.40am on the B4100 near Stoke Lyne.

No one else was injured and Police say no arrests have been made.

PC Ian Stevens, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit based at Bicester, said: “This incident has tragically resulted in a man being killed, and I am appealing for anyone who saw it occur to get in touch.

“If you saw either the car or bicycle prior to the collision, or have any dash cam footage which you think could help our investigation, please call us on 101, quoting reference number 43200015510.”
