A cyclist collided with a tree on the Marlow Road on Easter Sunday.
The cyclist is believed to have been riding from Henley, in the direction of Marlow and no other vehicles are believed to have been involved.
The crash happened at around 2.40pm and the man in his fifties from Windlesham in Surrey, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed and are been supported by specially trained officers.
Thames Valley Police would like to hear from any witnesses who saw the incident, or the cyclist on the Marlow Road prior to the crash.
Sergeant Darren Brown of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit based at Three Mile Cross, said: “Our thoughts remain with the man’s family at this difficult time.
“We are investigating the circumstances following this incident and we would like to hear from anyone who saw the incident to please come forward.
“Additionally we would ask drivers in the area at the time to please check their dash-cams and contact us if they have any relevant footage."
