Three teenagers charged with Didcot Murder

They are due to appear at Oxford Crown Court on Wednesday.

The trio, charged with one count of murder and two counts of grievous bodily harm, appeared at Oxford Magistrates Court earlier (13/01).

Taison Cyrille, who's 18 and from Market End Way in Bicester, Isaac Boyland, who's 19 and from Marlborough Road in Oxford and 18-year-old Brookton Lagan from Robin Way in Didcot were remanded into custody.

Three men were injured in the 'altercation' in the early hours of Thursday morning in Mendip Heights. 

One of the men, who had suffered multiple stab wounds, sadly died in hospital. 

Thames Valley Police quickly launched a murder investigation and sectioned off a number of roads, so forensic evidence could be gathered.

A post mortem has now revealed the 44-year-old victim died from 'a stab wound to the chest.'

Darren Maccormick, from Didcot, leaves behind three children.

His family have released the following tributes:

"A loving son, taken away too soon. Rest in peace, Darren. Lots of love, Mum and Dad. God bless."

"A loving, caring son and father of three. He was looking forward to 2020 to get a house of his own so he could have his children more often. No son should go before their parents. Rest in peace Darren, love Mum."

In a sperate statement released by Police his kids said he was taken away from them too soon: "We miss you so much dad, and the three of us will do you so proud. Love you millions, Dad. Love Kurt, Talula and Levi."

Darren's brother said he is 'gutted' and 'always put everyone before himself."

Senior investigating officer, Detective Chief Inspector Stuart Blaik, said: “We continue to work diligently to find out what happened in Mendip Heights in the early hours of Thursday.

"I want to reassure the community that are enquiries have not shown any link to any other incidents."

The two other men, one in his twenties and one in his thirties, were treated in hospital for their injuries but have since been released.  

A 16-year-old boy from Milton Keynes who was arrested on Friday night has since been released without charge.
